- J.Crew accepts returns within 30 days of purchase, excluding monogrammed, personalized, lingerie, vintage, altered, final sale goods, and swimsuits without liners. Marketplace items return to the vendor, and using a prepaid label deducts $7.50 from the refund.
- Student discount
- Students and teachers receive 15% off with a valid college ID. Online, verify eligibility by clicking the link to apply at checkout. In stores, present a valid college student or teacher ID at checkout.

Why won't my J.Crew discount apply at checkout?
Discounts cannot be applied to previous purchases, and student and military discounts are not valid on phone orders, gift cards, or cash redemption. Card offers also exclude charitable products, third-party branded merchandise, Madewell styles, gift cards, taxes and shipping, and can be combined with only one other offer per transaction.
Does J.Crew have a student discount?
Yes, students and teachers get 15% off with a valid college ID, in stores and online, but the discount is not valid on phone orders, previous purchases, gift cards, or cash redemption. It is valid in the U.S. only, and your discount should appear in your account 24 hours after verification.
How much does J.Crew shipping cost without free shipping?
Standard shipping is $7 and delivers in 3 to 6 business days, expedited is $17 for 2 to 3 business days, and overnight is $25 with cutoffs of 12pm ET.
Does J.Crew offer free shipping for Passport members?
Yes, Passport members get free standard shipping on jcrew.com for orders shipping to the U.S., U.S. territories, and U.S. P.O. Boxes. Members who do not pay with a J.Crew Card must be signed in to their Passport account at checkout, and the free shipping is applied automatically.
Does J.Crew honor price adjustments?
Yes, J.Crew honors a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise within seven business days of the mail-order ship date. You must email the order number or name, email address, and delivery address, and items not bought at full price are not eligible.
How do J.Crew Passport rewards work?
Every 200 points converts to $5 in Rewards, which you can redeem online at checkout by selecting the Rewards box, in a store by giving your Member account email, or by phone through the Contact Center. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be paid out in cash or store credit.
